The situation
A contract desk manages client relationships in one tool and tracks assignments and hours in spreadsheets. When an engagement is extended, the recruiter tells finance separately. This fictional scenario explores how that work could be organised in Rekro; it is not a customer testimonial or measured result.
The connected workflow
The recruiter creates an assignment from the candidate and vacancy, records the agreed dates and rates, and works through the placement’s compliance requirements. The contractor submits hours through their portal and the authorised client contact reviews the timesheet.
The finance handoff
Once an eligible timesheet is approved, finance can generate the client and self-billing invoices. Reviewers check the source information and billing details before sending. If the source changes, the invoice review process surfaces the need to revisit the figures.
What to evaluate in a demo
Bring an example extension and an invoice correction. Ask to trace both through the original assignment, timesheet and invoice. The useful outcome to evaluate is whether your team can follow the work and its history without maintaining a parallel spreadsheet.
